 I. Meeting to be called to order  

II. Welcome, introduction of new committee members and roll call [5 Minutes]  

III. Approval of Minutes of the February 12, March 12, April 9 and May 14, 2015 Planning and Land Use Committee [2 Minutes]  

IV. Government and Community Presentations [10 Minutes]  

V. General Public Comment (Limited to 2 minutes per speaker) [10 Minutes] 

The public may provide comments to the board on non-agenda items within the Neighborhood Council’s subject matter jurisdiction. However, please note that under the Brown Act, the board is prevented from acting on the issue you bring to its attention until the matter is agendize for discussion at a future public meeting. 
VI. Discussion and possible action regarding the Conditional Use (CU) application #    ZA-2015-793CUW [10 Minutes] 

a. Address: 2050 Marengo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033

b. Applicant: Miguel Samayoa, Delta Groups Engineering 

c. Request to allow for a new Verizon rooftop wireless telecommunications facilities.  

VII. Discussion and possible action regarding the Zoning Application ZA-2014-3249-ZAA [25 Minutes] 

a. Address: 1866 E 1st Street, Los Angeles CA 90033 

b. Applicant: Homayoun Neydavoud 

c. Request to change use on the first floor from church and office to restaurant and on second mezzanine build joint work and live units (5 on each floor, total of 10 units).   

VIII. Announcements [2 Minutes] 

a. BHNC Board Meetings are every fourth Wednesday of the month in the Boyle Heights City Hall Community Room. Next meeting is September 23, 2015 at 6 PM.  

b. PLUC Meetings will be held every second Tuesday of the month in the Benjamin Franklin Library. Our next meeting will be October 13, 2015.
