Returned

There is much that has occurred since i started this blog as well as much i have seen and done. But it would require a lot of time and effort to remember. So i lead this year's post with the latest.

As of the end of last year and begin of this 2010 cycle, I finally got around to taking the Gold line Metro rail. Walking down to Mariachi Plaza and a semi-warm afternoon, very few mariachis on that Saturday. [My group and i,] we constantly just missed the rail line towards down town and Staple Center's out door ice rink. But there was another about the given ten minutes later. It was quite and clean, and the absence of visible security gave rise to many a question of "we could have just walked in here without paying for a ticket and no one would have stopped us." and though i quickly pointed out the cameras, i also agreed that it was true. No one has ever stopped or questioned me whenever i take the rail lines. In all my years taking the system since it opened, i've seen maybe about ten cops total.

Still, getting off on 7th and walking to the rink, the crowds were sparse, but the vibe was calm and peaceful. There's really not much more to say then that. Nothing especially interesting happened. Aside from getting a cold after taking the red line to city walk and back.

There has been an odd increase of fat black transvestite hookers in daisy dukes, hanging out at the entrance at mariachi plaza. But other then that. Nothing new.
